1. Do you take trades?
We do take some trades depending on make, model, and price. Trade-ins must be in good condition and road worthy. We do not take 5th wheels or motor homes in trade.
2. What does the no trade price mean?
All of our prices are discounted, but the no trade price is an extra discount for customers that do not have a trade-in.
3. Do you service Park Trailers?
We service what we sell to the original customer. This allows us to be more available to take care of our customer needs.
4. Do you deliver? Do you offer set-up?
Yes, we can deliver and set-up locally (WI & MN). Maximum delivery range is approximately 3 -3 1/2 hours from Siren, WI. Farther deliveries may be drop off only. If you would like to purchase one of our Kropf park trailers and live farther away you can arrange a freight company of your choice for transit.
5. Do you offer financing?
Yes, we work with a local bank that offers financing. They offer fixed rate loans with terms up to 15 years. Typical down payment is around 20% or trade equity.
6. Do you offer skirting?
Yes, we do sell vinyl skirting kits. We do not install skirting.
7. Do you offer awnings?
Yes, we sell and can install manual canvas awnings and new for 2024 Kropf is offering a solar powered canvas awning as an option. We also sell Dura-bilt awnings and screen rooms that can stay up year-round and take snow-load.
8. If I find a unit on another dealer’s lot, can you have it transferred?
No. Kropf dealers are independently owned and do not typically share or trade product.
Park Trailer FAQ:
1. Can Park Trailers be lived in year-round in Wisconsin?
All Park Trailers must meet RV code. They are designed for recreational use and not as a dwelling. Most customers use their park trailers April-October in local campgrounds. However, if you plan to use your Kropf Park Trailer later in the season we recommend picking a floorplan that has the upgrade furnace.
2. Can Park Trailers be placed on private land?
Yes and No. You will need to check with your local zoning agency to determine if a RV (Park Trailer) can be placed on your property.
3. What are the typical sizes of a park trailer?
Park trailer have to be under 400 square feet to keep them a recreational vehicle. All of our Kropf park trailers are as close to 400sq ft as possible without going over. The 400 square feet is determined by width and length, so the loft space is a bonus.
- Shipping dimensions are typically 12w x 40L x 14H (with hitch)
- Actual dimensions with-out the hitch can vary but most units are approx 11w x 36L x 14H
- Gross weight is 16,800 lbs on most Kropf Park trailers
4. Can you custom order and how long does it take? Is it more expensive to order?
If you do not find a Kropf park trailer in stock that meets your needs you can custom order. The custom order process is done in person at our office and can take several hours (depending on how fast you are at making decisions). You will pick your own options, colors (interior and exterior), and style. Order timing can vary through-out the year but is typically a minimum of 4 months to 6 months.
Kropf does not lock in the prices on orders, so it can be more expensive to order. However, you may choose a more basic Kropf Park Trailer with minimal options and then the price may be less than what we have in stock.
5. What site prep is required and what do I need for hook-ups?
You will need a firm open level site and driveway that is considerably bigger than the park trailer dimensions. Ground clearance on our Kropf Park Trailers with a drop frame is only 8-10". Site prep such as removing trees/bushes/brush, trimming branches, widening driveways, moving decks sheds etc, grading or leveling is the customers responsibility.
Hook-ups - you will need sewer, water, electric (50 amp service), and propane to operate all the amenities in your Kropf park trailer. Site hook-ups will need to be located in close proximity to where they exit the park trailer. Typically: gas, water, sewer, and propane hook-ups are located just before the drop bedroom on the off-door side of the Park Trailer.
6. What foundation is best for park trailers?
A concrete slab, packed crush rock, or packed gravel will give you a good base and keep your park trailer level longer. Park trailers can be placed on regular solid ground but as the ground heaves and thaws it can affect the level of your park trailer. Leveling is not covered under warranty so it is best to start with a great foundation.
7. What is the warranty?
Kropf Park trailers have a one-year warranty. GE appliances (stove, refrigerator, microwave, etc) have a one-year warranty. Typically, the furnace and central air conditioner will have a one-year full warranty and a two-year limited warranty.
8. Do the Decorations come with Park Trailers?
No, but they can be purchased. As a bonus we do include the rug and lamp(s) displayed in our stock Kropf Park trailers.
9. Does the furniture come with the Park Trailer?
Yes, all the furniture shown on the main level will come with our Kropf park trailers. Loft furniture does not typically come with the park trailer unless specified in the description.
LOFTS:
1. What is the height in the lofts?
- On a drop frame (where the bedroom has one step down) :
Rear Loft is approx 54" from floor to peak and approx 49" from floor to sidewalls (roof slopes)
Center loft is approx 44" from floor to peak and approx 39" from floor to sidewalls
- On a straight frame ( no step down in the bedroom)
Both lofts are the same height - approx. 44" from floor to center peak and approx. 39" from floor to sidewalls
2. Can adults use the loft?
Yes, adults can use the loft for sleeping, working or just relaxing. Many customers use the loft area for a man cave, she shed, work space, extra bedroom, or extra entertainment space. A shorter desk, or shorter chairs will fit in the loft. It is best to pick smaller size furniture or furniture that can be assembled in the loft.
3. What size mattresses can fit in the lofts?
Typically in our units a queen size bed ( 60x80) will fit in the center loft and a full size bed in the rear loft ( 54 x 74). Some units can accommodate larger mattresses. If you have a certain mattress need for the lofts, let us know.
- Memory foam mattresses, air beds, or inner spring mattresses all will work in the loft areas.
